A composition comprising alendronate is provided to increase bioavailability and reduce side effects of alendronate by administering it percutaneously and improving its permeability to the skin by using a permeation improver, so that the composition is useful for treating osteoporosis. A plaster composition for treating osteoporosis comprises 0.1-10% of alendronate, 5-50% of solvent, 0.1-10% of percutaneous permeation improver, and 30-90% of pressure-sensitive adhesive, wherein the percutaneous permeation improver is selected from lauric acid, oleic acid, linoleic acid, caproic acid, caprylic acid, myristic acid, oleyl alcohol, isopropylmyristate and propyleneglycol laurate. The plaster for treating osteoporosis comprises contains a supporter for inhibiting permeation of drug, a drug layer containing alendronate solubilized in solvent and pressure-sensitive adhesive, and a release layer for treating alendronate with silicon.
