<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner supply device capable of steadily supplying toner by positioning and holding a toner container and restraining vibration caused by rotation of a container main body, and to provide an image forming apparatus using the toner supply device. <P>SOLUTION: The toner supply device 30 includes: the toner container 300 having the container main body 310 and a support member 350; and a holding tray 360 holding the toner container 300. The toner supply device 30 is configured such that the container main body 310 is rotated and toner is discharged from a toner discharging hole 314 formed almost in the central portion of the container main body 310. In the toner supply device 30, a first engagement part 310a and a second engagement part 310b are formed on the one and the other end, respectively, of the container main body 310. Formed on the holding tray 360 are a first locking part 362 and second locking part 363 corresponding to the engagement parts.
