<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make an entire optical system small and compact (make a diameter small) and to hardly cause deviation in initial adjustment so as to improve reliability. <P>SOLUTION: The lens moving device 1 is constituted of: an inner barrel 2 positionally fixed and having a guide groove 2g in an optical axis Fc direction; a cam barrel 3 arranged turnably on the outside of the inner barrel 2 and having a cam groove 3c; and a moving frame 4 arranged movably on the inside of the inner barrel 2, holding a predetermined lens group L and having engaging projection parts 4s... engaged with both the guide groove 2g and the cam groove 3c.
