PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting vibrator which generates a required stable vibration even when a fixing member has been arranged to be shifted from the tool axis, and further to provide a vibration cutting unit having the same vibrator therein. SOLUTION: A filling screw 26 is screwed into a fixing hole 21g provided on the upper side of a tip end portion 21a, and is fixed. The filling screw 26 has an effect to arrange the mass around the groove 21x of the tip end portion 21a, that is the mass with respect to the Y direction of a tool mounting portion, so as to be symmetrically balanced with respect to a tool axis AX. As a result, the generation of unnecessary vibrations at the tip end portion 21a can be prevented, and a stable fundamental vibration is achieved. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
