An oral rehydration mixture (ORM) may include from 47 to 75 wt% of a glucose containing saccharide, from 6 to 13 wt% sodium chloride, from 6.5 to 19 wt% potassium chloride, from 2 to 5 wt% sodium citrate, from 10 to 16 wt% citric acid, and from 0.3 to 0.5 wt% of a chlorinated sucrose isomer. The ORM may be combined with water to provide an oral rehydration solution (ORS). |
