A caliper brake for preventing noise is provided to effectively absorb the vibration due to the variation of the frictional force between a piston and a back plate by increasing the contact area between the piston and the back plate. A caliper brake for preventing noise includes a main cylinder(1), a main piston(2), a pair of pad back plates(3,3'), a pair of pads(4,4'), and a disc(5). An auxiliary cylinder is provided at the inner center portion of the main piston. The oil filled in the main cylinder is supplied to the auxiliary cylinder in order to increase the contact area with the pads. The auxiliary cylinder includes an auxiliary piston which is operated by the hydraulic pressure together with the main piston and makes contact with the pad back plate.
