MARKER GENE FOR EXAMINING HYPERTENSION

摘要

A hypertension sensitivity gene is identified by a highly efficient and less expensive mapping method with the use of microsatellites. By using microstatellite polymorphism markers located at intervals of about 100 kb, a case-control correlation analysis relating to hypertension is conducted. After narrowing down candidate regions, a correlation analysis and a chain analysis are conducted by using SNP as a marker. Thus, a novel hypertension sensitivity gene containing specific SNPs on the human genomic DNA sequence is identified.
