PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aldehyde collector used in the manufacture of a woody panel using a woody material and a formaldehyde adhesive and excellent in formaldehyde collecting capacity without lowering its collecting capacity even if the surface polishing of the woody panel is performed, the manufacturing method of the woody panel using the aldehyde collector and the woody panel using the aldehyde collector. SOLUTION: The aldehyde collector comprises a powdery aldehyde collector comprising at least one kind of an aldehyde collecting compound containing at least one kind of an aldehyde collecting compound which is solid at the normal temperature and has properties producing an acidic gas, especially a sulfurous acid gas.
