PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a knit fabric practically and semipermanently maintaining functions and widely used as a clothing material without reducing air permeability regulation effect even when the raw yarns are twisted, excellent in durability, having good bulkiness and the feeling of wearing by combining stretch characteristics inherent to the material, twisting effect and the knit structure to express the air permeability regulation function in a moist condition. SOLUTION: The knit fabric excellent in air permeability comprises a long fiber yarn A having true twisting and expressing stretch behavior in the wet condition and a spun yarn B and has a reversible structure, and the rate of change in air permeability satisfies the following equation (1) wherein a expresses air permeability in the environment of 20°C×65% RH and b expresses air permeability when water content is brought to be≥20%; the rate of change in air permeability=[(air permeability b-air permeability a)/air permeability a] x 100≥+10% (1).
