PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorptive resin particle having high absorption performance. SOLUTION: The absorptive resin particle comprises a crosslinked polymer (A) comprising, as essential structural units, a water-soluble vinyl monomer (a1) and/or a hydrolyzable vinyl monomer (a2), and an internal crosslinking agent (a3) and a crosslinked polymer (B) comprising, as essential structural units, a water-soluble vinyl monomer (a1') and/or a hydrolyzable vinyl monomer (a2'), and an internal crosslinking agent (a3'), wherein the difference between the water capacity of the crosslinked polymer (A) and the water capacity of the crosslinked polymer (B) is more than 5 g/g.
