PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multistage compressor which can restrain the cost increase and prevent the COP reduction. SOLUTION: The (multistage) compressor 12 which compresses in multiple stages vapor to be delivered from an evaporator 50 to a condenser 60 includes: an atomizer section 31 which generates mist from liquid in a space 33a different from an interstage return channel (flow path) 25; a mist supply section 32 which supplies the mist from the space 33a to the return channel 25; and a liquid passage (heating means) 70 which heats the atmosphere within the atomizer section 31.
