PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an actuator, for preventing generation of play over time of a link arm attached to a control shaft and a permanent magnet disposed to the link arm, and preventing lowering of a rotation position detection accuracy of the control shaft by a detection sensor. SOLUTION: The actuator comprises a ball nut 46 to be linearly moved via a plurality of balls 54 to the axial direction with the rotation of the ball screw shaft 45 by the rotating drive of an electric motor 36 and a link arm 47 and a link member 48 for linking the ball nut to a control shaft 32. A base part 47a of the link arm is attached and fixed to a mounting flange 32a of the control shaft by two bolts 58, 58 to prevent looseness of the bolt over time by alternate torque acting on the control shaft, so that the generation of the play of the permanent magnet 62 disposed to a projecting part 60 is suppressed and thereby the lowering of the detection accuracy of the detection sensor 44 is prevented.
