PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To predict an abraded form of a tire and the performance of the abraded tire efficiently with high precision. SOLUTION: An initial tire model is firstly formed (step S101), and a representative service condition under which the abraded tire model to be formed is estimated to be experienced is set (step S102). Thereafter, the initial tire model is rolled and analyzed under this service condition (step S103), and frictional energy per unit area in a tread grounding area of the initial tire model is found (step S104). Then, an abraded quantity at an optional position on the tread surface of the initial tire model is set and an abraded quantity at the other position is decided from a percentage of frictional energy at an optional position and frictional energy at the other position on the tread surface.
