PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a convenient device for preventing seedling trees from vermin damage, capable of performing the height adjustment of a protecting cover in accordance with the growth of the seedling trees and also easily performing the adjustment. SOLUTION: This device for protecting the seedling tree from vermin damage with animals by surrounding the seedling tree with a tubular protecting cover installed with a light-collecting part on its circumferential surface is provided by making the protecting cover as dividable to in a plurality of tubular bodies 4 in upper and lower direction, installing the light-collecting part 7 on the outer circumferential surface of each of the tubular bodies 4, installing stakes 3 at the lower end of the protecting cover 3 toward lower direction and thrusting the stakes 3 into the ground for self standing the protecting cover on the ground G.
