PURPOSE: A cylindrical high temperature generator for an absorption chiller is provided to improve efficiency of heat exchange. CONSTITUTION: A cylindrical high temperature generator(400) comprises a burner contacting part(440); a combustion chamber; a heat exchange part(420) in which combustion gas and absorbing liquid exchange heat with each other; an exhaust gas outlet(445); an absorbing liquid inlet(451); an absorbing liquid outlet(452); an eliminator(453) preventing absorbing liquid from flowing to a vapor outlet(454); and the vapor outlet. The heat exchange part has a plurality of water tubes(470) vertically and circularly placed therein with the exception of a central part thereof. A doughnut-shaped first baffle(460) and a circular second baffle(465) are installed in the heat exchange part to be separated from each other and to cross each other. A plurality of the first baffles are penetrated by the water tubes and laminated to be separated from each other. The second baffle is placed on the center of the water tubes circularly arranged and separated from the first baffles.
