PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a weather strip mounting structure, maintaining a stable mounting condition and greatly improving mounting workability by significantly reducing the weight thereof. SOLUTION: A weather strip 14 to be mounted all over the door opening peripheral edge of an automobile door including at least a corner portion basically has a trim portion 15 and a seal portion 16 formed by extrusion molding. It is mounted with the metal insert-less trim portion 15 fitted and held onto a flange 21 of a body at the door opening peripheral edge. Besides, a side wall 18 of the trim portion 15 outside a vehicle is held at its end in engagement with an engagement protruded portion 34. Thus, the side wall 18 of the trim portion 15 outside the vehicle is restricted at its end to be moved outside the vehicle to hardly reduce the holding force of the trip portion 15 at its end, whereby the falling of the weather strip 14 can be effectively restricted.
