PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent furniture from falling, toppling, or sliding by locking onto the other furniture or a storage shelf with a locking member attached to a part of the furniture. SOLUTION: The locking member 1 has four flexible arm parts 3 which protrude upward on the upper edge of a base body 2 of a short square cylindrical body with a square cross section, and each arm part 3 is provided with nail parts 4 turning outward. A plate body part 5 is extended in the horizontal direction at the lower part of the base body 2. When the arm parts 3 are pushed in a receiving opening 12 provided in a back part of the underside of a case 11, the arm parts 3 close inward when passing the receiving opening 12, restore the original shape by opening outward after passing, and are locked in the receiving opening 12 with the nail parts 4. The case 11 and a case 11' are locked mutually by fitting the base body 2 and the plate body part 5 of the locking member 1 in a locking groove 13 provided in a back part of the upper surface of the case 11' after the case 11 to which the locking member 1 is attached is placed on the case 11' located under the case 11.
