PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intake device capable of miniaturization, securing a desired engine output, and restraining low frequency booming noise. SOLUTION: This intake device has an intake port opened to the outside, and an intake passage communicating the intake port with a combustion chamber of an engine. For the purpose of restraining low frequency booming noise leaked from the intake port, an opening 80 is formed in a portion corresponding to a belly of a resonance mode of stationary waves along an overall length of the intake passage, or a portion with a high acoustic pressure level in a low frequency area in the intake passage, among walls blocking the intake passage. The opening 80 is blocked by a permeable member 8. A sound insulating wall 81 for blocking permeable sounds permeating through the permeable member 8 is arranged outside the permeable member 8.
