PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a material for treating vomit or excrement which contributes to the saving of resources by recycling tickets and packaging boxes and to improve the functions of the material by using the magnetic layers of the tickets and the resin coat layers of the packaging boxes. SOLUTION: The tickets having magnetic layers 4 on the surfaces are used as a raw material for the material for treating vomit or excrement which is made of crushed paper pieces 7 obtained by crushing the tickets and in which the magnetic layers 4 are left and held in the surface layers of the paper pieces 7.
