PURPOSE: A system for cooling a vehicle engine in the key off state is provided to perform cooling function by operating the engine until the engine maintains the stable state even though a key is off for stopping the operation of the engine in the state that the engine is overheated. CONSTITUTION: A system for cooling a vehicle engine is an ignition switch circuit(1) maintaining the operation of the engine at the key-off terminal or accessory power terminal, a temperature sensor(10) detecting the coolant temperature, an ECU(2) outputting control signal for maintaining the operating of the engine and continuously operating an electronic fan(30) of a radiator(60) even though positioning on the off-terminal or accessory power terminal when the temperature detected by the temperature sensor is over a reference temperature, and a relay(3) applying ignition power to the off-terminal or accessory power terminal by power applied to the electronic fan of the radiator.
