Meat mincing machine (1) comprises a propeller pump (2) and at least one cutting assembly (3, 3', 3'') arranged downstream of the propeller pump. The propeller pump has at least two conveying screws (4, 4', 4'') forming conveying chambers (6) defined by a housing (5) and engaging threads and moving in the direction of at least one cutting assembly when rotated. The sides (30) of the threads do not exactly fit together but the resulting gaps between the conveying chambers are so small that they are sealed by pieces of meat even at high pressure. Preferred Features: The threads are flat threads (7), trapezoidal threads, or round threads. The gaps form 10-20% of the channel cross-section. The pressure produced by the conveying screws at the end of the propeller pump is 10-50 bar.
