<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a fluorine-containing organosilicon compound, a water- repelling composition containing the compound and enabling various bases to be imparted with highly durable water droplet removability through treating them therewith, bases each surface-treated with the composition, to provide a method for producing such a base, and to provide articles for transport equipments causing no problems including function deterioration due to water adherence. SOLUTION: This fluorine-containing organosilicon compound is represented by formula (1) (Rf is a polyfluoroalkyl, or the like; X1 is an alkylene; (n) is an integer of 1-100; R is a univalent hydrocarbon group; X is a hydrolyzable group; and (p) is 0, 1 or 2). The water-repelling composition contains the compound. The bases each with the outermost layer surface-treated with the composition are provided. The method for producing such a base is provided. The articles for transport equipments comprise each the base.</p> |
