PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately control the tension of a yarn sheet during winding operation and to facilitate winding tension control. SOLUTION: In this yarn sheet winder, a tension adjusting roller 5 for the yarn sheet 1 is movably provided between a feed roller 4 and a winding beam 6 so as to be separable from the feed roller 4 and to be pressed to the yarn sheet in a tension applying direction by an actuator 7. When winding is stopped, the yarn sheet 1 can be held between the feed roller 4 and the tension adjusting roller 5, and during winding operation, the tension adjusting roller 5 is separated from the feed roller 4, and while applying tension by the actuator 7, the winding tension of the yarn sheet 1 is controlled by a winding tension control device 8. The winding tension control device 8 is provided with an actuator control means 11 for controlling the pressing force of the tension adjusting roller 5 to the yarn sheet 1, and a position control means 12 for maintaining the tension adjusting roller 5 in a reference position by controlling the rotating speed of at least one of the feed roller 4 and winding beam 6.
