PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cold insulating container wherein deterioration of precooling effects can be suppressed, reductions in work space and manufacturing costs can be achieved, and the degree of freedom in the selection of storage containers can be increased. SOLUTION: Spaces 2a, 3a defined by main sides 4, 9 being reference surfaces for mounting the container, and front and rear left and right sides 5-8, 10-13 which are connected to the sides 4, 9, to store objects to be cooled, are provided. Each of the spaces 2a, 3a has upper and lower enclosures 2, 3, which can be opened and closed, and attached to and detached from each other. Each of the enclosures 2, 3 are formed from rectangular boxes each having an air window 3 opened in both directions by combining these enclosures so as to be offset from each other in the front and rear directions.
