PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a credit card illegal use prevention system and a credit card illegal use prevention method which are capable of preventing illegal use from being continued. SOLUTION: A credit card reader 1 reads information stored in a used credit card and notifies a credit card use detailed statement through a provider server 7 to a customer personal computer 9 by mail.
