PURPOSE: A shadow mask for color cathode ray tube is provided, in which frit glass having a low coefficient of thermal expansion is employed as an adhesive, to thereby decrease doming of shadow mask. CONSTITUTION: A shadow mask(7) includes a surface where reflector film consisting of an electron reflecting agent, thermal radiation agent, adhesive and organic substances, is attached. The reflector film is formed by using frit glass as an adhesive, wherein the frit glass has coefficient of thermal expansion of 85 x 10¬-7/°C. The frit glass has an ingredient at least one of beta-eucryptite, titanate lead, cordierite or zircon, and contained in 20 to 80 weight%.
