PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a treated part from being hurt by treating elements by allowing the treated part held between the treating elements, to be pulled out unforcibly. SOLUTION: This massaging apparatus is provided with a pair of arms 7 provided with treating elements 8 on one end side to massage a treated part S; a driving cam 6 connected to the arm parts 7 to determine a clamping direction; and a driving device (a motor) 5 for driving the driving cam 6. When the arm parts 7 receiving force in other directions than the driving direction, the arm parts 7 are detached from the driving cam 6.
