METHOD FOR CONTROLLING PLAYBACK OF PROGRAM OF TVCR

PURPOSE: A method for controlling playback of program of TVCR is provided to prevent children from being exposed to adult programs by determining level of recorded programs when several programs are recorded and by determining playback action according to password input at a time of playback. CONSTITUTION: A method for controlling playback of program of TVCR includes a control part(28), a code examining part(34) and a VCR deck part. The control part(28) controls a whole TVCR system. The control part(28) controls display or record of broadcasting signal and playback of a video tape(32) and determines level of broadcasting program which is played back and determines playback action according to password input at a time of playback. The code examining part(34) examines genre and level of broadcasting program at a time of record and examines genre and level of playback program at a time of playback. The VCR deck part includes a signal record/read part(31) which records broadcasting program in a video tape(32) or reads image/sound signal recorded in a video tape(32) and records/reads information on partial section of a video tape(32) according to genre and level of a recorded program at a time of record.
