PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the harmonic component (high frequency component) of a transmitted wave in harmonic imaging to improve the extraction ability of a contrast medium by equipping an arbitrary waveform transmitting means to transmit an arbitrary waveform amplified by a prescribed amplification wave according to an inputted waveform onto the transmitting system of an ultrasonic diagnostic device. SOLUTION: An amplifying step comprising cascade-connected bipolar transistors 13, 14 to receive inputting signals is equipped on the linear driver output part constituting an arbitrary waveform transmitting means in a transmitting pulser. An output buffer step 15, which current-amplifies the output of the amplifying step, comprising bipolar transistors 15a, 15b, and resistances 15-18 connected to the output buffer step are also provided. The amplified signal is supplied to a vibrator 3 via a DC cutting capacitance 19. The consumed current in a stationary circuit except for voltage supplied to the vibrator 3 is determined by bias current determined by values of resistances 16, 17 and bias voltage VB from the power source 20.
