PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple device which can obtain the attitude and the inclination at a stationary state and can measure the speed and the acceleration at a moving state. SOLUTION: Lattice-like earth lines 2 are provided on the inner face of a sphere 1, potential detectors 3 are uniformly distributed on the inner face of the sphere 1 so as not to contact with the earth lines 2, and a liquid electric conductor 4 such as mercury is enclosed in the interior. This motion state detecting device is provided with a potential detecting means 10 detecting change of potential generated on the potential detectors 3 by earthing the potential detectors 3 to the earth lines 2 through the liquid electric conductor 4, a distribution detecting means 12 detecting distribution of potential based on the output of the potential detecting means 10, and a changing quantity detecting means 13 detecting the changing quantity of potential distribution based on the output of the distribution detecting means 12. Based on the output of the distribution detecting means 12 and the changing quantity detecting means 13, speed, acceleration, inclination, and the like are output. |
