<p>A method for inserting of partition elements (14, 25, 26, 27) between articles (3) of a group (100) of articles being transported while flanked together to form transversal ranks (3a) and longitudinal ranks (3b), wherein said longitudinal and/or transversal ranks are spaced and said partition elements (14, 25, 26, 27) are inserted, from the bottom upwards, between the transversal ranks (3a) and/or the longitudinal ranks (3b) of articles (3).
