Heat-resistant drive and measuring coil for oscillation pipe mass flowmeter

The coil has a coil former (1) with an axial bore for receiving a magnet, provided by an inner cylindrical part (2) wound with the coil windings, with a fixing flange (4), provided with a number of reception bores (5,6) for fixing screws at one end and a second coil flange (3) at the opposite end, incorporating further bores (10,12) for passage of the coil wires (11,13). The coil former is made from an electrically insulating plastics which is resistant to temps. of up to 200 degrees C, e.g. polytetrafluoroethylene, the coil wires made of steel with a sintered coating of polytetrafluoroethylene.
