PURPOSE:To improve corrosion resistance and spalling resistance of a flame spraying material. CONSTITUTION:This flame spraying material is compounded with 30-85wt.% clacined alumina, 10-50wt.% chromite incorporating >=35wt.% Cr2O3 as a chemical component, and 5-30wt.% magnesia. Since a m.p. of Cr2O3 is very high, the porosities of a sprayed coating structure due to excessive melting of the clacined alumina is reduced by use of the chromite containing much Cr2O3 component. Also its material is allowed to react with a MgO component since Cr2O3 component are incorporated much and Cr2O3-MgO type spinel is produced, and the sprayed coating structure is made dense due to the volume expansion accompanying its production. |
