PURPOSE:To provide a radiation detector in which a plurality of image signals for subtracting or adding energy are accurately aligned, and in the signals for subtracting the energy a good separation of energy components can be carried out. CONSTITUTION:A radiation detector 1 is formed by laminating a scintillator 3 having an instantaneously emitting fluorescent unit for emitting an instantaneously emitting light by radiating a radioactive ray, and a stimulable phosphor unit stored and recorded with radiation image information upon emitting of the radioactive ray to emit a stimulated light to carry radiation image information by emitting an exciting light and a solid photodetector 2 for respectively converting the instantaneous light and the stimulated light emitted from the scintillator 3 to image signals to be output via a filter 7.
