PURPOSE: To provide a snap ring suitable in the case where the access to the inside of the opening of a vessel is difficult, and undeformable even if a force is added. CONSTITUTION: A snap ring 19 is provided in the circumferential groove formed in the body of an assembly in the released condition. The circip 19 is provided with cam projections 25. When an assembly with the circip is fitted to the hole of a member, the cam projections 25 are abutted on the respective wall surfaces of the holes of the member, and the circip is pressed in the radial direction to intrude into the inside of the circumferential groove. Thus, the circip 19 passes through the inside of the hole, and after passed returns to its released position. |
