PURPOSE:To provide the picture display device on which a slave pattern is displayed so as not to be overlapped with a prescribed area of a master picture. CONSTITUTION:A picture display device 11 is provided with a master picture memory 13 storing master picture data displayed on a master screen, a slave picture memory 14 storing slave picture data displayed on a slave screen, a master picture read circuit 17 reading master picture data from the master picture memory 13, a slave picture read circuit 18 reading slave picture data from the slave picture memory 14, and a control circuit 19 controlling the master picture read circuit 17 and the slave picture read circuit 18. The control circuit 19 controls the read timing for at least either of the master pattern read circuit 17 and the slave picture read circuit 18 so that the prescribed area of the master screen and the slave screen are displayed while not being overlapped on a monitor. |
