<p>PURPOSE:To remotely check the operation of a detector by driving the heat generation of a heating body in a detection part at the time of sending an alarm setting signal or an inspection signal from a receiver and providing a pyroelectric element with a self-diagnostic function for generating a detection output for self-diagnosis. CONSTITUTION:This crime prevention monitoring device has the detection part 1 provided with the pyroelectric element and the heating body arranged in the vicinity of the pyroelectric element and generating heat at the time of impressing voltage to allow the pyroelectric element to execute self-diagnosis and a comparator 4 generating a comparison output when the output of the detection part 1 exceeds a previously determined threshold and an alarm signal is sent based upon the output of the comparator 4. An alarm setting signal is outputted to a hot-wire type human body detector 20 by operating a check switch in a partition display device 10 to be a receiver and timers 7, 8 are started. When the timer 7 is started, the output of the comparator 4 is obtained. When an inverter circuit 13 is inverted for a prescribed time at the time of driving the timer an AND circuit 11 is turned to an inhibited state, an AND circuit 12 is turned to a permitted state and only a self-diagnostic signal is outputted to the display device 10 through a self-diagnosis output device 9.</p> |
