PURPOSE:To simplify the operating circuit by forming within a housing in series a small-diameter chamber for tilting piston and a large-diameter cylinder chamber for trimming piston and connecting a piston rod integral with the tilting piston to one of a clamp bracket and a swivel bracket. CONSTITUTION:The tilter device which is interposed between a clamp bracket 12 and a swivel bracket 14 is prepared by pin-connection to the clamp bracket 12 of a housing 19 formed by serial communication between a small-diameter cylinder chamber 23 and a large-diameter cylinder chamber 24, a tilting piston 20 being accommodated within the small-diameter cylinder chamber 23 of the housing 19. This tilting piston 20 is provided with an absorber valve 27 which, at the time of collision with flow wood articles, is opened when the pressure in the small-diameter cylinder chamber 23 has reached a value larger than a prescribed value, so as to enable supply or transfer of the operating oil in the chamber 23 into an intermediate chamber 25. And the end portion of a piston rod 21 protruded from the small-diameter cylinder chamber 23 is pin- connected to the swivel bracket 14. Further, a trimming piston 22 is accommodated within the large-diameter cylinder chamber 24 and is urged toward the chamber 23 side by means of a large-diameter spring 30. |
