PURPOSE: A personal portal site service method and system thereof is provided to enable a user to intensively search a specialized or an interested field of the user by enabling the user to determine a category relevant to the interested field and making a personal portal site, and by enabling the user to perform a searching through the portal site. CONSTITUTION: A member goes through a registration process for membership(202). In case that the member wants to manufacture a personal portal site, a personal portal site manufacturing unit executes a personal portal site manufacturing tool(204). The member designs the personal portal site(206). In case that the member terminates a designing of the personal portal site, a URL(Uniform Resource Locator) of the site is stored in a member portal site URL database. After that, an Internet surfing is performed through the portal site(208). In case that an Internet service provider makes a request, information on connection state of the member is searched from a member database(210).
