<p>PURPOSE:To prevent dirt and foreign matter from entering into equipment by providing a detecting device to detect a closed condition in which a storage medium inserting port provided in front of the vehicle mounted type electric equipment and an exposed open condition, and closing a front panel after prescribed time passage when the storage medium does not exist at the inserting port and the panel is in the open condition. CONSTITUTION:A front panel 115 having a display device 115a is provided in front of a cassette player equipment main body 101, and a switch group 116 is arranged as an operating means on its lower edge part side. The opening/ closing of the panel 115 is open/close-operated by an open/close switch 124, the switch 124 is open-operated in the closed condition, and the lower edge part of the panel 115 forward protrudes together with the switch group 116. Simultaneously, an upper edge part side falls following to the guide of a guide groove 126, an inserting port 125 of the cassette covered with the panel 115 in the open condition is forward exposed, the cassette is made detachable, and even when the panel 15 is opened, the display part 115a can be watched, and the switch group 16 can be controlled.</p> |
