The invention relates to a cable coupler consisting of a sleeve tube (7) and of two laterally adjacent sleeve heads (1) which can be shrunk. A supporting body (3) is arranged in that part of each sleeve head (1) which is on the sleeve side, this part (1c) not being shrunk.
