TREATING APPARATUS FOR TOBACCO SMOKE

PURPOSE:To increase sticking efficiency of dust material contained in tobacco smoke on a dust collecting pole by providing a water spray part wherein foggy moisture is sprayed for tobacco smoke introduced into a tobacco smoke inlet part and an intermediate part of a tobacco smoke treating chamber to decrease temp. of tobacco smoke and moisture is absorbed. CONSTITUTION:The dust collecting poles 5 are formed into a pipe-shape and a rod-shape and surface temp. thereof is maintained at 30-90 deg.C. When the quantity of hydrated tobacco smoke sticking thereon is remarkably increased thereby and also a fine grain or the like contained in a stuck tobacco smoke is made tar-like and made to thickness of some degree, it is peeled from the poles 5 and naturally flowed down and dropped to a tar recovery apparatus 6. It is separated into moisture 7a and a sludge material 7b herein but moisture is returned to a water spray part 4 as a water spray for replenishment by means of a pump 8 after removing a floating oil material from moisture and can be used together with fresh moisture fed through a pipe 9.
