Mask comprises a panel of plastics foam such that grooves formed in selected positions on one or both sides of the panel, an adhesive layer formed on one side of the panel, and a release sheet covering the adhesive layer constitute the mask. Plastics foam is polystyrene foam. The release sheet is a release paper. The panel is produced by expansion moulding, or by cutting out from blocks of plastic foam.
