PURPOSE:To improve the processing efficiency at a processor part by storing data in a main memory from a copy register and transferring data to the processor part from a cache memory in parallel with each other. CONSTITUTION:A storage device 11 contains a copy register file 15 which holds a register group which is used in an environment saving time out of a register file 14 provided to a processor part 12, a saving flag 16 which is provided every bit in response to each register of the file 15, a storage control part 17 which controls the data transfer processing of the device 11 by a microprogram and an address register 18 having a function to hold the saving area address of a main memory 13 which is sent from the part 12 when the environment is saved to the memory 13. Thus the part 12 can read the data out of a cache memory 8 as soon as the contents of the file 15 are stored.
