PURPOSE:To obtain a clear colored image having a less color muddy by providing at least one of a sensitive silver halide, a reducing agent, a binder and a high polymer donator of the coloring matter capable of forming a hydrophilic coloring matter by reacting with an oxidation product of the reducing agent on a substrate. CONSTITUTION:The titled material consists of at least one of a sensitive silver halide, the reducing agent, the binder and the high polymer donator of the coloring matter capable of forming the hydrophilic coloring matter by reacting with the oxidation product of the reducing agent, on the substrate. The high polymer donator of the hydrophilic coloring matter is preferably a polymer having a repeating unit derivated from a monomer shown by the formula. In the formula, A is an ethylenically unsaturated group or a group having said group thereof. B is a bivalent binding group, C is a coupler residue capable of forming the hydrophilic coloring matter by reacting with the oxidation product of the reducing agent, B is bonded to the active point of the coupler residue shown by C. |
