<p>The valve has a control spool that closes off the supply when the pressure reaches a value to overcome the force applied by a spring. At this point the spool moves rightwards and a flow path is established to an outlet connecting with a load. A pressure feedback force on the spool is applied by a bleed that connects with a control chamber. This maintains the spool in a steady position. - If the pressure exceeds a set value moves rightwards until a point is reached when the outlet is connected to a second port to vent flow back to tank.</p> |
