Armoured HT circuit breaker with enclosed switching resistors - uses vertical assembly with switching resistors and their connecting mechanism surrounding main contacts

The circuit breaker is enclosed in a metallic casing filled with a pressurised dielectric gas. Each phase has two switching elements, each comprising a resistance and a mechanism to insert the resistance in circuit so that it is electrically in parallel with the main contacts when they close. The fixed contacts of the main contacts set are linked to two fixed diametrically opposed bars and the moving contacts are coupled to two longitudinally mobile actuating modes which are also diametrically opposed and have their diametric axis perpendicular to the fixed bars axis. The resistance and its insertion mechanism are placed longitudinally between a fixed bar and a moving rod. The resistance is linked to the fixed bar and its insertion mechanism is connected to the moving rod.
