PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cultivate plants with a foam conveniently to the health of roots by preparing the specific foam and feeding the resultant foam to the root parts of the plants and thereby rearing the plants. SOLUTION: Water containing a fertilizer component is mixed with a foaming agent and the resultant mixture is then fed together with compressed air into a device 5 for producing a foam to thereby produce the foam, which is subsequently fed to root parts of plants 4 to thereby rear the plants 4. A vessel 31 for filling the foam is provided to float a setting material by a supporting member 37 for passing the foam therethrough in an upper part of the vessel 31 and attach the setting material. The plants 4 are set in the surface layer part of the setting material and a drainage pipe 7 is installed in a part of the bottom of the vessel 31. The device 5 for producing the foam is arranged in a position at a lower level than that of the supporting material in the vessel 31. A pipe 68 for the foam is attached from the lower part of the vessel 31 and connected to the device 5 for producing the foam. Thereby, the apparatus for cultivating the plant with the foam can be composed. |
