A control apparatus which, with a simple operation sequence, enables contactless power transmission and communication by load modulation, an electronic device and a contactless power transmission system are provided. The control apparatus, which is on the power receiving side in a contactless power transmission system comprising a power transmission device and a power receiving device, includes a driver control circuit which controls a power transmission driver of a power transmission unit for transmitting power to the power receiving device, a control unit which controls the driver control circuit, and a communication unit which performs communication processing with the power receiving device which transmits communication data by load modulation. On the condition that the power receiving device has initiated load modulation, the control unit starts normal power transmission by the power transmission unit and, as long as the load modulation is continued, continues normal power transmission by the power transmission unit. |
