An object is recognized from plurality of objects in a database based on a digital representation of a scene containing the object. An information address corresponding to the object is then used to present an item to a user, who may obtain the item via a transaction.

1. A method for executing a transaction via a mobile device, comprising:
associating a real-world object with (a) an image of the real-world object in a database and (b) an information address; receiving, by a server and from a mobile device, a digital representation of a scene, the digital representation of the scene comprising location data; recognizing, by the server, the real-world object based on the representation of the scene; presenting, to the mobile device, an item for selection based on the information address; receiving, by the mobile device, an interaction by a user with a multimedia content; and executing a transaction to obtain the item based on the user interaction.
